Hi Arti, You can certainly submit a hand drawn image, just make sure it meets the details and specs (200 dots per inch at 16" x 20").

Hi Natalie, You need to open the T-Shirt template, put your design where you want it to appear on the T-Shirt, and turn off the layer that has the template instructions in a software like Photoshop. Please email support@creativeallies.com if you have further questions.

some questions:
can we change the colour of the t-shirt?
can we go outside the downloaded template?
how many entries can one person have?
can you have multiple colour ways of the same entry?
I have seen a lot of entries that do all of the above and am just wondering what the ruling is? also, is the competition open to all of the world or just US residents? Im coming over in the summer especially for this festival and would obviously love to win tickets.

Hi Ben, You can change the color of the shirt template. Your design should fit inside of the area as seen in the T-Shirt template for printing purposes. However, if your design goes outside of the downloaded template to highlight areas of your design or if you use a background, etc. that's fine. You can enter as many entries as you like. You can enter multiple colors of the same entry. The competition is open to designers across the world.

is it okay if i take a picture of a painted image that i did myself and then tweak it in photo shop? i understand that drawings will be accepted but will they really be considered compared to digital entries? - just trying to scope out my options because i have some but not loads of experience with computer graphics

Hi rbarnes, we love original art and illustrations! That would be perfectly acceptable. Just be sure to scan your art in at a high dpi (dots per inch) such as 200 or 300. Feel free to contact support@creativeallies.com if you need assistance.

Hi Chloe&Mark, the festival picks the winner. The design with the highest number of votes wins the Fan Favorite award and our team at Creative Allies picks the Editors' Favorite. We're looking for a front only design.
