Lonnie Walker is an award-winning graphic designer, illustrator and owner of PrimoGraphics, Inc., a studio he created in 1999 in Louisville, Kentucky. His experience ranges from being employed in both lithography and screen-printing to design studios and ad agencies over the years.
Walker has produced work all over the nation as well as the world. Along with being the 2013 Kentucky Derby Festival poster artist, he was the official poster artist for the 2000 Kentucky Derby Festival, George Mason University’s 2009 Fall For The Book Festival, 2014 & 2015's A Taste of Louisville, as well as the 1990 World’s Championship Horse Show and many others. He has completed projects for Coca-Cola Worldwide, Bic Pens, Hooter's, Minor League Baseball, Six Flags Theme Parks, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Papa John’s International, University of Louisville, The Louisville Orchestra, The Crusade For Children, The Houston Symphony, Cincinnati Reds Baseball, Jeff Gordon/NASCAR, ESPN, Brown-Forman Beverages, The Madison Regatta, The Rose Bowl Parade, Jimmie V Cancer Foundation, John Deere Tractors, the Gallopalooza Sidewalk Derby Horse art exhibit and the Heads Up art exhibit, among many other notable clients. He has been featured on television over 35 times, on radio over 20 times and has been featured on various websites, blogs and newspapers all around the world.
