GUNS N' ROSES
Poster Design Contest Case Study

Designing For Legends

One of the greatest rock & roll bands of all time, Guns N’ Roses reached out to the Creative Allies community for an exclusive commemorative poster.

The band’s debut album, Appetite for Destruction, was released on July 21, 1987. With 30 million copies sold worldwide and hits like “Welcome to the Jungle”, “Nightrain”, “Paradise City” and “Sweet Child O’ Mine”, it is viewed as one of the greatest and best-selling records of all time.

With the release of the Appetite For Destruction: Locked N’ Loaded box set, it was time to design a poster that celebrates the rock & roll greatness of this legendary album!

We received almost 400 amazing, original designs and it was tough for the band to pick just one Grand Prize Winner.
